A Weekend in Santorini
Day 1: Oia
Morning: Rise early to witness the sunrise at Oia Castle. Embrace the tranquility as the sun paints the sky in hues of pink and gold. Capture the moment and start your day with this beautiful view.
Afternoon: Stroll through Oia's narrow streets, where every corner unveils a new delight. Explore the Maritime Museum and the Castle of Oia, immersing yourself in the rich history. Explore the shops and art galleries that line the streets, adding a touch of local flavor to your afternoon.
Evening: Find a cozy spot to experience the world-famous Oia sunset. Whether at a cliffside café, the Oia Castle or from the charming alleys, let the beauty of the sunset captivate your senses. Arrive to the popular spots early so you can ensure a good spot of the sunset over the famous blue domes.
Day 2: Fira and Red Beach
Morning: Begin your day in Fira with a hearty breakfast at a local café. I highly recommend stopping at Volkan on Rocks if you are looking for delicious food with a beautiful water view. Afterwards, take a leisurely stroll through the vibrant streets and absorb the lively atmosphere.
Afternoon: Head to the Caldera for panoramic views. Consider a catamaran cruise or a thrilling donkey ride for a unique experience. If you are feeling hungry, grab a gyro on the go while you explore- you can’t go wrong with the street food options. If you are looking to cool down in the middle of the day, I suggest heading over to the beautiful Venetsanos Winery for a luxury vineyard experience.
Evening: Relax and catch the sunset at the unique Red Beach, where the red volcanic sand meets crystal-clear waters. Enjoy the natural beauty surrounding you before you leave Santorini.
